Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 10, 2026 · Last updated: June 10, 2026
Hilltop Truck Park (“we,” “us”) operates hilltoptruckpark.com. We are a food truck court and bar in Northlake, Texas. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we collect only what we need to respond to you and run the business, and we do not sell your personal information.
Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways:
Information you give us
- You contact us through our contact form.
- You book a party or private event.
- You sign up for a market or submit a vendor request (food trucks and market vendors).
- You buy tickets to an event or pay a market vendor fee — we collect your name, contact details, and order information. Payments are processed by Stripe (see “Payments” below).
- If you email, call, or text us, we receive the contact details and message you send.
- If you check the box on one of our forms to receive emails about events and announcements, we collect your name and email address for that purpose.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics: we use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-focused tool, to understand how visitors use the site — pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you found us. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors. See our Cookie & Analytics Notice for details.
- Log data: our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, used for security and to keep the site running.
How We Use Information
- To respond to your inquiries, requests, and submissions;
- To schedule and confirm bookings and appointments;
- To process ticket orders and vendor payments and send order confirmations;
- To send marketing emails you signed up for (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email);
- To understand how the website is used and improve it;
- To protect the security of the website and comply with legal obligations.
Payments
When you buy event tickets or pay a market vendor fee through this website, your payment is processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We receive and keep your name, contact details, and order information (what you bought, the amount, and the payment status) so we can fulfill your order. Stripe’s handling of your payment information is governed by its own privacy policy.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only in these situations:
- Service providers. Companies that help us run this website — such as our website host, our website designer (Signal & Form LLC), our payment processor (Stripe), form and email delivery providers, and analytics providers — receive information only as needed to perform those services.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfers. If our business is sold or merged, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Cookies and Analytics
This website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. You can read about what we use and how to manage them in our Cookie & Analytics Notice.
Data Retention
We keep form submissions and correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and for our business records, then delete or anonymize them. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your Choices and Rights
- Email: every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
- Access and deletion: you may contact us to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will honor reasonable requests unless we are required to keep the information by law.
- Texas residents: the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act provides certain rights to Texas consumers, including rights to access, correct, and delete personal data. We honor these requests regardless of whether the law’s thresholds technically apply to a business of our size.
- Other states: if you live in a state with a consumer privacy law (such as California), you may have similar rights, which you can exercise by contacting us.
Children’s Privacy
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
This website is served over HTTPS, and we limit access to personal information to people who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Third-Party Links
This website links to third-party sites and services (for example, social media). Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
